Gas leak in UI Ice Arena
An Illini-Alert has been issued by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign following a gas leak at their ice arena. The building, at 406 E. Armory Ave. in Chicago, was evacuated after Ameren Illinois crews found a leak. To stop further contamination, firefighters closed a sideway that leads to the arena. It is believed that the leak originated beneath the building.
