White Point is one of LA's most popular dive spots. It features white bacterial mats on the bottom and is near the hypo-thermal hot springs. Leo Carillo

Leo Carrillo La, a state park is located along the southern coastline of Los Angeles County, California. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. The pristine waters off Leo Carrillo State Park are a great place for scuba divers.

Divers can choose from three main dive sites at Leo Carrillo. These sites are perfect for beginners because they offer easy entry points as well as ample parking. They're also a popular site for night diving and lobster hunting, and there's plenty of marine life to see.

Santa Barbara Island

Santa Barbara Island is home of some amazing offshore dive sites. To get to these dive spots, visitors can board a visiting vessel. These dive sites are often rugged and make great hunting and photography spots. These areas are also home to many healthy kelp bed and purple hydro Coral. This area is ideal for Southern California waters because of its excellent visibility.


Visitors to the island can also take part in snorkeling and kayaking. If the weather permits, you can even go tent camping. There is a large population pinnipeds on the island, which includes harbor seals. These animals can often be seen around the sealion rookery and at several overlooks.

Anacapa Island

Anacapa Island is home to a variety of marine life. The area is also home to one the United States's first Marine Protected Areas. The area is great for beginners as well as seasoned divers. The water around the island is relatively warm, making it ideal for wetsuit diving. In the fall and late summer, surface temperatures can reach 70 degrees F (21 degrees Celsius). In the winter, temperatures can plummet to 50°F (10°C). Using a 7mm wetsuit is recommended. Visibility is usually at least 100 feet (30M) during these months.

You can reach Anacapa by diving charter boats as well as the Island Packers. You will find many dive sites on the island, including a 40-foot tall arch rock. These sites can be viewed by snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park is a Green Space off Ocean Drive with a playground, fields and other amenities. This is a great spot for families to enjoy time together. It is close to beaches. It offers great views of the ocean from the park on sunny days. It is open all year, and has many things to offer.

From the parking lot, it is easy to access. Veteran's Park, a great place to start your dive adventure, is ideal for first-timers. It is easily accessible with restrooms and parking. The meter is always checked, and there is also an outdoor shower for rinse gear. There's also a changing room, but the bathrooms close at dusk.
