PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response Course (EFR+CFC), was created to train individuals to respond to emergency situations. The course can only be completed if you have the necessary equipment. There is also rental gear available. For more information, click here. This course also serves as a refresher course for those with some experience and a desire to update their skills.

Content for the course

EFR training is a great way of increasing your confidence and willingness to handle medical emergencies. Participants will learn simple emergency procedures and get hands-on experience in a stress-free setting. You will find self-study guides, videos, and quick reference cards. It meets the requirements of the PADI Rescue Diver course as well as professional ratings.

CPR, rescue breathing (scene assessment), and basic first-aid are just some of the courses. Common diving injuries can also be treated during the training. This includes how to bandage and splint as well as how to prevent infection. Students will also learn to protect their bodies from harmful substances and pathogens. Students are eligible to take the PADI Instructor Exam after they have completed the EFRI program. Each course in the EFRI Program begins with the prefix EFRI. It is numbered sequentially. Each course lasts 1 hour. This includes 55 minutes of class, and five breaks.

Refresher course

The EFR Refresher Course is designed for people who want to brush up on their skills. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. You will be updated on the latest developments in CPR/first aid during the refresher course. You will also learn how to use the AED. In addition, you will learn how to instruct people on how to perform these skills in case of an emergency.

The EFR course is a great way to brush up on your skills and meet the requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course. It also meets the requirement for the Professional Rescue Diver course and other courses that require CPR training. It includes an Emergency First Response video, which assists participants in preparing for emergencies and previewing the skills they will be practicing during the skills training session.

The Emergency First Responder course is a one-day course that covers all aspects of emergency response.
