There are many reasons you should take Nitrox certification courses. Nitrox diving lets you experience the thrills and excitement of enriched oxygen. It also helps you to become more confident as a diver. There are many organizations that offer certification courses. These are just a few: NAUI Enriched Airnitrox Diver, PADI Enriched Air Divers, SSI Adventure Diver and Open Water Diver.
PADI Enriched Air Diver
PADI Enriched Air Divers is for divers who desire to extend their dive time. The course includes home study and a short classroom lesson. The EANx course teaches you about the oxygen content in the scuba tanks, how to use a scuba analyzer and the standard procedures for recording that percentage.
You can prolong the time you can stay underwater with Nitrox-enriched air divers without having to make frequent stops. This is due to the lower level of nitrogen in the air, which allows for a wider safety margin. Enriched air mixes are also ideal for deeper dives, as they usually have 32% and 36% oxygen.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
If you're looking to elevate your diving skills, getting certified as an enriched water diver is a good start. This course teaches the basics of mixing air, the risks associated high oxygen concentrations, and how you can handle the equipment. Additionally, you will learn how to operate a diving computer and analyze the contents in your tanks. Additionally, you will learn how to use a standard air diving table and the Equivalent Water Depthance (EANx). The common blending of nitrogen and oxygen is also covered.
Nitrox, also known by the name Enriched Air, is a type or breathing gas that contains higher levels of oxygen than normal air. The higher oxygen content allows you to stay underwater longer without the need to recharge your tank. Because it reduces decompression fatigue, this is good for your health. Also, enriched water divers have shorter surfaces intervals.
SSI Adventure Diver
SSI is a recognized international diving organization. The SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification (SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification) is one of the most advanced ratings. You must have knowledge and experience in order to be certified. To receive this award, you must have completed at least 50 dives and four specialty courses.
The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox training course was designed to give students the skills and knowledge required to dive in poor visibility. It teaches divers to navigate in the dark, use specialized equipment, and communicate with a dive buddy. After completing the course, divers will be awarded the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver rating and are eligible to receive the SSI Nitrox Specialty certificate.

SSI Open Water Diver
The SSI Open Water Diver course is an internationally recognized certification program that includes three parts: academic learning, in-water pool training, and multiple open-water dives. This course will teach you how to plan, dive and use enriched air mixes as high as 40% oxygen. This can improve your bottom time and decrease your surface intervals. Additionally, it may prevent you from getting decompression sickness.
PADI and SSI have different certification procedures. You must purchase your manual to obtain a PADI certification. However, with an SSI certification, you receive your card from the dive center where you completed your course. PADI certification centers can also issue temporary cards which you can use to prove your certification.
