TDI Extended range is a special course for divers with limited access to Trimix. This course emphasizes good procedures, skill development, as well as diver response to different situations. Students will learn how to use up to two decompression gases and dive safely in the Extended Range environment. Training dives in the TDI Extended Range are done on nitrox or air.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens many doors to new dive locations. This certification allows divers to have more bottom-time and can reach up to 60m/200ft. Extended Range certifications are also available as eLearning. TDI eLearning allows you to complete the course online if you are unable or unwilling to go to a local dive center. This course will educate you about extended range diving.
The Extended Range course can help you dive in more challenging places and reduce your nitrogen addiction. You will be able to plan and execute stage dives with up to two stage bottle and enriched oxygen. The Extended Range course may be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix Training will prepare you to do advanced diving. You can dive up to 60m under normal conditions. TDI Trimix training emphasizes skill development and safety, as problems at this depth must be dealt with quickly. Divers must be familiar with the procedures and feel comfortable using them.
