TDI Extended Rang is a specialty course intended for divers who do not have easy access to Trimix. It emphasizes solid procedures, skill development, and diver response to situations. Students will learn how to use up to two decompression gases and dive safely in the Extended Range environment. TDI Extended Range training dives can be conducted with nitrox, air or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens doors to new dive sites. This certification also allows divers to have more bottom time, and can go up to 60 meters/200 feet. Extended Range training is also available via eLearning. If you're unable to find a dive center in your area, you can complete the course online with TDI eLearning. This course will help you understand the advantages of extended range diving.
The Extended Range course will allow you to dive in more challenging locations and decrease your nitrogen narcosis. You'll learn how to plan and execute stage decompression dives by using up to two stage bottles and enriched air or oxygen. You can also combine the Extended Range course with TDI Trimix Diver certification.
TDI Trimix Training will prepare you to do advanced diving. You can dive up to 60m under normal conditions. TDI Trimix training emphasizes safety and skill development, since problems at this depth need to be addressed quickly. Divers need to be comfortable with procedures that will avoid any complications in order to do this.
