sdi diving philosophy

Courses offered
Many SDI diving courses are available for those who desire to become certified divers. The Open Water Diver Course introduces divers to the five specialties and allows for exploration of the waters up to 40 meters. These courses may involve just one dive, or many. A limited-penetration course is also available, which requires only three dives. You will enjoy your course, no matter what you choose.
Prerequisites for sdi diving courses
Prerequisites for SDI diving courses vary depending on the level of certification you want to earn. A certified diver must have successfully completed the Open Water Scuba Diver Course. As a SDI Assistant Instructor, a certified diver can further their skills by adding this advanced training. They are also qualified to supervise certified divers. In addition to being able to supervise certified divers, SDI instructors also undergo training to teach them the rudiments of diving.
Cost of sdi diving courses
There are two main types of SDI diving courses: open water and advanced diver. Advanced divers generally complete four specialties and log 25 dives. Students can choose from Night Diver (drysuit diver), Deep Diver (nitrox), or Deep Diver depending on which course they are taking. A student can often complete all four courses in one dive course. This saves money and allows students to choose which specialty they want, depending on their preferences and financial budget.

Online sdi diving course
An online SDI course will teach you all the basics and give you confidence to do solo dives. The course emphasizes safety and proper planning for each dive, including personal limits and emergency procedures. The course will help you understand the risks and benefits to diving alone as well as how your equipment should be used and set up correctly. This course is great for those who are interested in taking up underwater photography or videography as a hobby.
