The enlisted person has the most experience, knowledge and training in all areas of diving and underwater salvaging. To be considered a master diver, you must have at least 15 years of experience and have completed a specialization course. A specialization course can help you earn master diver status in the United States Navy.
PADI Master Scuba Diver
The PADI Master Scuba Diver scuba certification is a recognized level of scuba diving expertise. The program can be offered by several North American training agencies like the National Association of Underwater Instructors or the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. It is considered the highest level of diver certification available. You will be required to dive at least 30ft underwater while completing the course.

NAUI Master Scuba Diver
A NAUI Master Scuba Diver course may be the right choice for you if you are ready to progress to a higher level in scuba diving. This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge necessary to organize dives for others. You will learn how to use a compass, perform underwater communications, and recognize pre-panic signs. Additionally, you will learn how to take a dive in unfamiliar locations. This course includes a classroom session and two open-water dives.
NAUI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
To enhance your diving experience, the NAUI Master Diver Course in Enriched Air (NITX). This course covers all aspects of enriched air diving including mixing Nitrox and Oxygen. The course will teach students how to analyze the mixture and what the physiology is of nitrogen and oxygen, as well as the dangers of handling these gases. In addition, they'll learn the concept of Equivalent Air Depth and common gas mixing techniques. An open water diver can also take the enriched course. It is a prerequisite for using the enriched mixture.
NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver
The courses required to become a NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Master Diver Instructor are necessary in order to realize your dream. This certification is a requirement for the NAUI FIT training course. You will be able to become a professional NAUI instructor or leader. To get started, take the Try Scuba program. This program will teach you all the skills and knowledge needed to safely dive open water.

NAUI First Aid Course
NAUI First Aid for master divers will teach you how to respond to all kinds of emergencies that could occur in the water. Refresher sessions are included, as well as information on the latest First Aid standards. NAUI First Aid will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to rapidly respond to an immediate emergency. You can also practice the skills you have learned in class by taking the course hands-on.
