An introductory course is the best way to learn if you are interested in diving, but don't know where to start. This course is also called a buceo (or baptism by water) and is an excellent choice for those who have little to no experience or those who have limited time. While you can dive up to 12m, you will need a certified instructor to complete the course. If you choose to continue your training, you will be able to obtain a Rescue or Advanced open-water certification.
PADI Scuba Diver
There are many PADI Scuba Diver levels. If you are just starting out, you can begin with the introductory course. After achieving certain levels of competency, you can progress to a higher degree. PADI Scuba Diver's course is comprised of 14 modules. The modules are broken into three sections. Although the course is usually three days long, you can upgrade it in as little as one and a half days. This is the most popular course in the world and will allow you to dive to 18 meters.

Advanced open water diver
Open water divers can be advanced if they have successfully completed an Open Water Diver Course. AOW divers can dive further than the recommended depth of 60 feet. AOW divers can also work on buoyancy or air consumption. Advanced open water divers can also dive in specialty areas like wreck diving. There are several levels of AOW certificates. These are the distinctions between each level. You can read more about these levels by reading on.
Rescue diver
There are three types of Rescue Diver certificates: one for recreational diving, the other for technical diving and one for dive leader. International Standards Organisation (ISO), sets the standards for these levels. The levels of this training are based on BS EN 14413-2:2004 and ISO 24801-1:2004, respectively. Level-one instructors can teach recreational divers, assess them up to level one, and plan and execute dives. They can also teach rescue techniques and guide other divers in open water.
Cave-1 class
A cave diver certification program involves a minimum of 40 hours of academic instruction and experience. This course covers the basics of cave diving, standard procedures, emergency procedures, as well as information about the dangers and challenges that the environment presents. Students are tested during the cave course. It has two parts: academics, and water-based exercises. Students are required to pass an exam and demonstrate their competence by passing a quiz. The course requires the student to complete a cave dive course manual.

Master Scuba Diver certification has five levels. Open Water is the first level. It is where you learn to dive, manage your gear, and teach others. You can also choose electives at the next two levels. You can dive with other Master Scuba Divers as long as they are also certified. You will also receive a 10% discount when you take this level.
