Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis is a pioneer of scuba diving, a legend in the area and a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. He began scuba diving in the late 1950s and developed an interest in underwater photography. This hobby required special equipment. Hollis' engineering degree allowed him to design his own housings for underwater camera. Hollis established Anchor Shack, a Hayward-based store selling underwater cameras in 1965. Soon, he began receiving mail orders about his housings.
Oceanic
One of the most recognized and well-known brands in scuba diving, Hollis Scuba Oceanic is one. Since 1972, Bob Hollis founded the company. It is synonymous with high-quality diving equipment. Products include dive computers, rebreathers and new diving masks with heads up displays. They have also been involved in the development of military diving equipment, including the MK-25, which is used by US Navy frogmen and other naval work divers.

Recalled dive computers
Hollis's Scuba has recalled several dive computers that could cause drowning. The air flow control system of the recalled dive computers is defective and could result in the diver losing control over their breathing underwater. The dive computers were sold for $1200 between November 2010 & July 2012. The affected units can be returned to a dealer or the factory for repair.

Hollis Scuba Warranty helps protect your investment and ensures the equipment meets your expectations. You can use it for recreational diving, provided you maintain it well. Hollis can exchange your equipment or provide a refund if there are any problems. However, this warranty does not cover shipping and handling costs. Your warranty will also be null if your equipment is used for commercial or military purposes.
