Maxwel Hohn is an accomplished adventurer, photographer, and filmmaker with over 4000 dives under his belt. He lives in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. There he enjoys exploring and the underwater world. Hollis Scuba gear is used to help him improve his skills and aid in his projects.
Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis was a pioneer of the scuba diving business, a local legend and member of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. He started diving in the mid 1950s and discovered a passion for underwater photography. This new hobby required specialized equipment. Hollis, who holds an engineering degree, developed his own housings to fit underwater cameras. Hollis established Anchor Shack, a Hayward-based store selling underwater cameras in 1965. Soon, he began receiving mail orders about his housings.
Oceanic
One of the most recognized and well-known brands in scuba diving, Hollis Scuba Oceanic is one. Founded by Bob Hollis in 1972, the company has become synonymous with high quality scuba equipment. Products include dive computers, rebreathers and new diving masks with heads up displays. They have also been involved in the development of military diving equipment, including the MK-25, which is used by US Navy frogmen and other naval work divers.

Divers could drown from the Hollis Scuba recalled dive computers. A faulty air flow control system in the recalled dive computers could lead to a diver losing control of their underwater breathing. These dive computers were bought between November 2010-July 2012 for around $1200. The affected units can be returned to a dealer or the factory for repair.

Hollis can exchange your equipment or provide a refund if there are any problems. This warranty does not include shipping and handling fees. Your warranty will also be null if your equipment is used for commercial or military purposes.
