There are many good reasons to learn Nitrox certification. Nitrox diving lets you experience the thrills and excitement of enriched oxygen. It can also help you feel more confident as a diver. Numerous organizations offer certification programs. There are many certification courses: NAUI Enriched Air Nix Diver, PADI Enriched Air Diver; SSI Adventure Diver; and Open Water Diver.
PADI Enriched Air Diver
PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification (EANx), is for those divers who wish to increase the bottom time of their dives. It includes a short classroom session as well as home study. The EANx course covers the oxygen content of the scuba tank and how to use a scuba oxygen analyser. It also covers standard procedures for recording the oxygen percentage in the tank.
The time that divers can stay underwater for is extended when they are Nitrox-enriched. This is due to the lower level of nitrogen in the air, which allows for a wider safety margin. Also, enriched air mix usually has 32% or 36% oxygen. This makes them great for shallower dives.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
An enriched air diver certification is a step in the right direction if you are looking to take your diving to the next level. This course covers the basics of blending, as well as the hazards associated with high oxygen concentrations and how to use the equipment. You will also learn how to use a dive computer and analyze your tanks. You'll also learn the Equivalent Air Depthance and how to use a standard dive table. The common blending of nitrogen and oxygen is also covered.
Nitrox is an enhanced form of oxygen, or enriched air. It's a type o breathing gas that has more oxygen than regular air. The higher oxygen content will allow you to stay underwater longer, without the need for refilling your tank. It reduces the effects of decompression fatigue and is beneficial to your health. Also, enriched-air divers have shorter surface intervals.
SSI Adventure Diver
SSI International is a recognised diving organization. The SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification ranks among the top. You must have knowledge and experience in order to be certified. To receive this award, you must have completed at least 50 dives and four specialty courses.
The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox program is designed to teach students the knowledge and skills required to dive in restricted visibility. It teaches divers to navigate at night, to use specialized equipment, as well as how communicate with a buddy. After completing this course, they will be eligible to apply for the SSI Nitrox Specialty certification.

SSI Open Water Diver
Internationally recognized, the SSI Open Water Diver program includes three components: academic learning, in water pool training, and multiple open water dives. This course teaches you how plan and dive with oxygen-enriched air mixes, up to 40%. This can increase your bottom speed and decrease your surface time. It also helps you avoid decompression syndrome.
PADI and SSI diver centers have different ways of handling certifications. PADI certifications include the requirement to purchase a manual. However, with an SSI certification, you receive your card from the dive center where you completed your course. PADI certification centers can also issue temporary cards which you can use to prove your certification.
