When you're ready to take your diving skills to the next level, you should consider completing an Advanced Open Water Diver course. This course will enhance your buoyancy, navigation, as well as deep diving skills. It also includes three specialty dives of your choice. When you finish the course, you will earn credit towards specialty certifications.

Adventure dives

For a full certification as a scuba diver, adventure diving is essential. They improve your buoyancy and awareness, as well as your communication skills. You must normally complete five dives of adventure before you are certified. Your instructor will guide you through the training and help you plan your dives.

Adventure dives, which are the first of each specialty course's dives, count towards the specialty to be completed. By doing this, you can choose dives which will prove useful for the future. PADI recommends that divers have a variety of objectives. They can be deep exploration or wildlife exploration.

Night dive

In an Advanced Open Water Diver course, students learn about different techniques that help them be safer underwater. They learn to control their breathing and adjust their body positions. They learn to communicate with their buddy and use diving lights. Students will have lots of fun while practicing their skills in shallow-water games.

Night diving can be a great way of discovering new underwater worlds. Night diving offers a different experience to daytime diving, making it more interesting than daytime. Even though night diving can seem scary, they aren't as difficult as you might imagine. An instructor can help you master the techniques and assist you in overcoming any problems that may arise from night diving.

Underwater naturalist dive

PADI's Underwater Naturalist course is designed to teach students how to interact in the aquatic ecosystem. Students learn about basic organism groupings and identification, how these species live in different habitats and how to practice environmentally-friendly diving. They learn about the importance conservation of biodiversity and marine conservation.

PADI Underwater Naturalists is for divers who are certified as PADI Open Divers and want to dive deeper into the ocean. This course teaches divers about coral reefs and marine organisms as well as food chains and the relationships among these organisms. It lasts for one full day and involves two open water diving.

Peak performance buoyancy dive

It is important to know how to keep your buoyancy when diving. You must be buoyant all the time, as falling in water can cause decompression sickness. Incorrect buoyancy control can also increase the chance of getting injured by sharp rocks and marine life. PADI Peak Performance Bulkancy Specialty was created to assist divers with proper buoyancy control so they can avoid these problems.

PADI Peak Performance Bulkyancy Specialty is an intensive one-week class. It includes classroom and pool sessions along with two optional open water diving. It teaches students about buoyancy control and allows them to glide more easily through the water. PPB's goal is to make diving more fun, efficient, and easier.

Maximum depth is 30m/100ft

PADI Advanced Open Water is a course that teaches you how to dive up to 100 feet. This is dangerous because you could get nitrogen narcosis or impaired cognitive function. It is possible to make mistakes at this level, which can lead to serious consequences. This is why you shouldn't go deeper than that without proper training.

The Advanced Open Water course is usually completed within a 1.5 to two-day period. The instructor determines the length of the course. You can take the course online or on a local beach. Instructor training is necessary before the course can be taken.
