ERDI has programs available
ERDI offers a variety of programs that allow international students to continue their education in their country. Students at the University of Eastern Finland can take ERDI courses in Finland while they study. The programs will improve intercultural communication between the participating countries as well as address global environmental problems. Underwater Crime Scene Investigations
ERDI Underwater Crime Scene Investigation course is designed to provide law enforcement professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct underwater investigation of crime scenes. Participants will learn how they can collect evidence, record the scene, and present court-ready testimony. The course is free for law enforcement personnel as well as emergency service personnel.
Instructors who have extensive experience in forensic investigations will be teaching the course. They are certified and experienced in underwater crime scene investigation. They have extensive knowledge in law enforcement and criminal justice. They also have advanced knowledge in the sciences of crime scene investigation. They will train law enforcement personnel and public safety workers from all corners of the globe.
The Confined Spa Diving Ops component
ERDI is a component that teaches students skills and knowledge to safely perform limited confined-space operations. This training meets all OSHA, NFPA, FEMA regulations regarding water rescue. Students will be able respond to various emergencies in cramped spaces. They will also learn how to disinfect victims and conduct an exhaustive search for evidence.
